Tampa to Nassau

Flying private to Nassau

International flying is where private really earns it. We handle the eAPIS filings, Bahamian arrival paperwork, and customs coordination before you board; you land at Lynden Pindling, clear in minutes at the FBO, and you're at Baha Mar or the Ocean Club before a commercial connection would have left Florida. Coming home, US customs clearance is equally painless.

The guide

Where to stay, dine & explore

Where to stay

The Ocean Club, a Four Seasons Resort on Paradise Island remains the standard — Versailles-inspired gardens, a Tom Weiskopf course, and the calm the big resorts can't match. At Cable Beach, Rosewood Baha Mar is the polished pick inside the mega-resort, with SLS and the Grand Hyatt next door for bigger groups. The Cove at Atlantis buys you the waterpark with a quieter adult tower.

Where to dine

Dune at the Ocean Club does Jean-Georges beachfront perfection; Café Matisse hides Italian fine dining in a colonial courtyard downtown. At Baha Mar, Fish by José Andrés and Carna by Dario Cecchini anchor a genuinely deep resort dining scene, and Graycliff — with its 250,000-bottle cellar — is the old-Nassau institution for a long dinner and a hand-rolled cigar.

What to do

Play the Royal Blue and Ocean Club courses, take the casino at Baha Mar, or run the waterpark at Atlantis with the kids. Day-hop by boat or island-hopper to the Exumas — swimming pigs, iguanas, and sandbars — charter for bonefish on the flats, or just claim a cabana at Cable Beach and let the bartender work.
